My wife and I met Victoria at the wedding show last year and she was very easy to talk with. We booked her a month later and I was a little nervous spending the money. After just a couple of weeks, I realized how much Victoria was worth when we had an issue with a DJ we had booked before we booked Victoria. Somehow she called him and everything worked out good. This saved us a lot of money! After that, I did not have much to do with the planning all I knew was that my girl was happy when she came home after meeting with Victoria. Victoria and Kevin were wonderful in the whole wedding planning process and were very flexible with the schedules of my husband and I. They worked with us around a few holiday seasons as that's when I had time off from school, and even drove to San Diego to conduct our engagement photo session. They were always available to work on a part of the wedding day when I was able to come to Fresno. I was living in Chicago and couldn't have planned a wedding across the country without them. The use of Pinterest to get my ideas about the wedding assisted in developing the decor of our wedding and my husband and I both believe they did a fantastic job with the church and reception venue. They are very knowledgeable about the resources and vendors in the area; it gave me comfort in letting them have a say in practically every element of our wedding day. They took so much pressure off my shoulders as I was so busy with work and school and being located so far away! Victoria, Kevin, Molly, Crystal and the entire staff at Genesis Master of Events in Fresno, CA really exceeded all of our expectations when it comes to having a wedding planner! The entire experience with Victoria and her team was extremely professional and enjoyable. We were on a strict budget and Victoria made sure that our day was amazing- without breaking the bank. The staff at Genesis was also very accommodating to my husbands work schedule and my school/work schedule when it came to scheduling meetings. We also used Genesis for our flowers, photography, desserts and used her DJ recommendation. Molly did the flowers for our wedding- AMAZING! She used my Pinterest and really captured the look we were going for. Kevin (Victoria's husband and our photographer) was a delight to work with, he was quick, kind and managed to get my family to cooperate:). Victoria and her team coordinated everything with our venue as well which was amazing. My groom and I were able to have the most amazing wedding day, relaxing without worrying about anything because we knew the Genesis team had everything under control. I had so many people comment the day of the wedding on how perfectly everything turned out! Overall, Victoria and Kevin are the perfect team (professionally and personally), and our wedding went off without any issues. Victoria is my hero! My daughter can be very difficult to talk with when she makes up her mind. I believe she gets this from her father. Anyway, Victoria is not just an event planner. The moment my fiance and I got engaged I was excited to start planning our wedding. He had full faith in me that my creativeness and attention to detail would make a great and easy time to plan our wedding. Two months into it, I was already stressed, and nervous about using reliable vendors. My experience with Genesis Event Planning and Victoria has been fabulous. When I first got engaged I did not include a Wedding Planner in my budget, but as time passed I started to become stressed by all of the planning demands!
